Ynni Consulting provides transient stability studies by means of numerical simulation, taking into account the entire network model, including synchronous machine regulation systems, various types of AVR/exciter arrangements and different governor prime mover types and considering the network operating modes (normal, emergency, maintenance, etc.).
Electrical network is often subjected to various disturbances, big or small, such as an electrical fault, modification in the network configuration, switching in island operating mode, the starting of big motors…etc. These disturbances can involve a transient instability which may involve some important fluctuations in frequency and voltage with mechanical constraints which could damage the drive shafts of the rotating machines. Transient stability studies allow the accurate prediction of dynamic behavior of rotating equipment during system operation

OBJECTIVES
Eliminate the risk of rotating machines damage
Eliminate the risk of tripping due to high or low frequency
Reduce voltage and frequency variations by means of a suitable load shedding automatism
Avoid risks of blackout
Ensure a proper network operation
